So I was talking to the princess on the phone last night and she was telling me of a grave dilemma she is suffering: A good friend of her father’s has been coming on to her subtly over the past while but last night came out with the suggestion of a date. Her response: EEEEEEW and rightly so. So the dilemma is this: Should she just ignore the guy or should she tell him that its very inappropriate behaviour ad he should never ask ever again, labouring the point that she will not tell her father but if he persists then she’d have no choice. – Answers on a postcard please….In the mean time I shall continue to laugh my a**e off and point at her!!
On another note, Dara made an observation on my site last night. I was trying to get my Webcam to work and was getting him to have a look at it. I have been using Google ads now for a few weeks and they have screwed me over!!!! I don’t get to choose my ads they choose em for me – anyway- click on the picture to the left and you’ll see what I mean – I think the princess will now be totally convinced!!

Was Just watching Brainteaser. – It’s such a shame cause this could have been my Brother presenting this show. When the show was starting he was given the opportunity to try out for the job but when he went down there for what he thought was a pre-production meeting it turned out to be the actual tryout and he had 5 mins to prepare. The others had received the brief and info on it and were able to practice. The producer forgot to send that stuff to Tom and so he just had to watch the others then do his best. IDIOTS!!!

So here I am in Dublin and to say it feels bizarre would be an understatement although it has been harsh. On the first night after a great mean with Andy then a Pint with Andy & Stacey I was struck down with illness and brought the whole meal back up with a vengeance only Bruce Willis has ever been close too. Me and the toilet bowl got very well acquainted which put me out for the entire day yesterday. I did manage to go down the west Pier, up Killiney hill and a much craved walk down Killiney beach. So it was not totally wasted.
It really has been odd seeing all my oold haunts and how some of them have changed sooo much and how some of them have completely changed. Also the fact that this is my first time driving in this country has been refreshing. Me and Trevor (I decided to call the car trevor) have been getting along grand.
This after noon I am off to bray then down to Silver Strand. The place where my summer youth was spent. Should be good. Then I’m dropping into my Aunts for a brew then into Town to see Dara.
Yes – Am off to Dublin tomorrow for 5 days WOHOOOOO! Can’t wait!!!
It was a bit of a wired weekend. Was all over the place!!! It’s ok now. A phase of adjustment is what’s needed and the gusto that is going for what you want.

So every New Year people make resolutions in order to better themselves and I have always done this but its always been in a very jocular kind of way. I’ve never really taken it seriously mainly cause most of the times I’ve been pissed as a fart when I’ve come up with the resolutions. This year I am actually gonna put money where my mouth is as it were. Also – I was not pissed when thinking about it. So resolutions are as follows:
This year has started better. My general outlook is more positive and I wanna keep it that way. I am going to do more and I’m gonna bloody enjoy myself and have some bloody FUN baby YEAH!!!!
Had a meeting at Ministry today to sort out all the cash they owe me and it should all be coming soon!!! I’ll be able to pay my rent at last!!!
Was a weird weekend. Not feeling myself and was a lil stressed about things but it was all. The princess as usual brightened things up in the end.
Dunno what’s wrong with me this morning. I woke up feeling bloody miserable. I’m just in a foul mood! I’ll probably snap out of it later. Maybe it is the comedown of the Christmas/new years season. Thinking about things and making resolutions and then realising that day to day life just continues along regardless.
Bought the Princess dinner last night. We went to Patisserie Valerie’s in Knightsbridge and the food was lovely – the service was crap but the food was very yummy.
SOOOOO, I shaved the beard off Yesterday. If you remember I did attempt this a couple of years ago and i have come to the same conclusion – I don’t look like me. I like my beard – that’s why I have one. To those of you who don’t like em – Tough cause until I have to remove it due to safety / medical / paternal reasons – It’s staying…at least until the next time I question it’s presence. (Now I didn’t Photoshop this image just to make it look worse by adjusting the curves to make my skin blotchy and increase the contrast of the stubble so you’ll all agree with me – oh no I would never do that!!!!)
The inevitable anti climax has hit home….
Had a really great New Year. Christmas was rubbish! – Christmas was rubbish mainly cause I was so busy. I worked on Xmas eve and on boxing day when I should have been chilling out with the Princess! I got the day after Boxing day sort of – well we had our second xmas with all our friends in the flat here for dinner and it was really good. The food was excellent and the company was fab and cause I was going away the following da I jus couldn’t work. I chilled for a bit in the eve with Jasmine but not enough.
That eve I went off down to Jimmer’s, got about 30mins sleep when we were woken by alarm clocks aplenty to get us up for our flight to Prague. Yes New Years Eve in the Czech Republic was on course. After 12 hours of travel we arrived in the town of Frydek Mistek in the very east of the country. On our way we couldn’t help but notice the vast amounts of snow. We were then faced with the worst snow the country had seen in over 10 years. – Just in time for uis to go to the small cabin in the mountains where we were to celebrate the new year… So after the Cabbie dropped us up there we had to push him some of the way up the hill cause the snow was soo bad and we were on a road that required snow chains and no…he didn’t have any. So after that we hiked up to the cabin through snow that was waist deep in places and just plain silly. Anyway – we got there and it was grand – Vodka flowed like river from a lake and we got totally pissed despite having to wear every item of clothing (which at one point included 5 pairs of socks, 1 pair of track suit bottoms, 1 pair of jeans, 1 pair combats, 2 thermal shirts, 3 t-shirts, 1 sweater, 1 fleece top, 2 scarves and 2 hats.) because it was only -14 degrees C. Just trying to recover now. Still feelin the cabin fever but it should pass in a day or two so If I’m keepin a low profile this is why. Anyway – it’s all good!!
